We found this zoo about 4 years ago. This is an amazing place my children are grown up but loved it. Myself and my husband go on our own each year and visit 2 or 3 times during our holiday. I wanted to keep this place a secret but they need the visitors to stay open. The hotels try to put you off and say to to Las aguilas and Lorel Park. these parks are expensive and can afford to pay for advertising. When we got a taxi there this Aug 2008 we told the driver monkey park and he took us to Las Aguilas jungle park. He said oh confused funny he advertised las aguilas on his cab. He then took us to the write place. These Monkeys here are well looked after and happy and some rescued. Take grapes and raisons monkey nuts and bananas for the chimps.Still buy a bag of the seed on sale at the kiosk because it helps with the up keep. My favouite Monkey is the black and white lemur his name is barisio. He is the only black and white lemur there and has got no mate so he sulks. Everyone pays attention to all the grey ones and he sits watching. So if you go be patient and keep talking to him. A lady told me they were trying to get a mate for him but the paper work and cost was too high. He mixes with others but he is special so he gets lots of strokes from me. He loves to be tiggled under the chin. He is awake in the morning but hides and sleeps in the afternoon. Please visit this zoo it is the best. I love it there. adults and children enjoy it. The people keep this zoo very clean. I congratulate them I wish they could advertise it but then would it get spoilt. I hope not but they need us visitors. We get there early park opens 9.30
