Booked a trip to Whistler Dec 5-10. I just found out 1 of the Gondalas will not be open unitl the 12th. In general, how can I accept the conditions to be? Is the whole mtn usually open by Dec 5?

Thanks..

Primary source information that will help. You could also use that site for current weather as your trip nears.

Well, typically things are up and running around the last week of Nov. Even if it's still warm during the day, they get going on the snow making as soon as they have sub-zero temps overnight.

However, we have been noticing that it seems very warm so far this fall. Making up for the shockingly cold spring we had!! That being said, we have started watching the snow line creep down the mountains (when the clouds lift that high, anyway), so the ski season can't be too far away. :>

The gondola that does not open until 12th December is a the new Peak to Peak Gondola - linking both mountains.

The individual mountainn gondolas will be operating from opening day.

Enjoy your trip.
