We arrived after a long journey and trundled our cases throuigh the stony car park, up some steps and into reception. After checking in it might have been nice to have a drink in the bar whilst our cases were taken to the room - no such luck. We had to roll the cases over more stones and carry them... more

Villa Fiesole is very isolated. There is a bus stop outside that goes to Fiesole village (a much better place to stay) and down to SMN rail station. That is the only transport--no taxis. We booked a room for 3, for my wife, 11 year old daughter & myself for 5 days in March. They greeted us with an upgrade to adjoining rooms.
