I've just returned from 1 weeks stay (24th-31st Oct) at the Jalousie with my wife and 4yr old son and would firstly like to say that we've had a FANTASTIC time ! Secondly I'd like to say that I can see why people have been left feeling dissapointed with the hotel as it is certainly not of 5* (and maybe... more

We were here in Apr 08 for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved it. We did have one of the older villas which was a little rough around the edges, but that really didn't matter. The food was excellent. The staff were, for the most part, very friendly and accomodating. more

We stayed at the Jalousie for our honeymoon Oct. 8-15, 2008. Maybe our expectations were lower than others who have posted comments, but we were OK with the room and food (2 restaurant options). The room wasn't 5-star posh, but it was fine. Service was great. Food variety was plenty for us and we did AI so didn't worry about... more

My partner and I stayed at the Jalousie Plantation for two weeks and were very disappointed with the resort as a whole. We booked what Virgin Holidays advertised as a 4*+ hotel and what we actually got was absolutely not even 2*. As other reviewers have noted, the Jalousie is due to close next year for a major refurbishment. In... more

We have just got back from our honeymoon at this resort. Firstly the positives, The staff were all very freindly (just remember that if they say 15 minutes it normally means 2 hours or in some cases not at all). The location is fantastic and the snorkeling is amazing. Now for the negatives but before I start I would like... more

We returned to Jalousie for a second stay this October 10-17. Please note that the pictures attached to this review are from the damage caused by the waves of Hurricane Omar. They do NOT represent the normal state of things at JP. I thoroughly enjoyed Jalousie on the first visit and wanted to visit before it closes in May 2009... more

As you will see from the reviews on this web site there are some really mixed views on the hotel. We stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of September and the beginning of October (Rainy season, so expect some rain!). While the Jalousie hotel is showing its age in places we found the food good, service excellent and... more

Beautifull location, lovely people but Jalousie is a bit tired. Good Scuba BUT ONLY TWO RESTAURANTS instead of the advertised FOUR. No Squash, poor spa facilitiy, poor water pressure (when there is water!). Site water off for one day (poor explanation) and then fed by tankers!! Beach and pool is OK if you like lying on wet cushions )not cared... more

We have just returned from the most fantastic and relaxing holiday at the Jalousie Plantation in St.Lucia. We definitely had one of the best holiday's of our lives! Having travelled all over the World, I have to say, the stunning location of the hotel makes the Jalousie one of the most unique destinations one could possibly travel to. The hotel... more
