We were at Malliouhana in Nov-08. Facilities are very tired and management is squeezing every dollar from the property. Staff is unfriendly and any problems will not be solved. The most common answer “That’s how things are done in Anguilla.” Our party had both Honeymoon Suite and Pool Suite for 5 days. Upon our arrival there was no greeting package... more

The island of Anguilla is beautiful. it's refreshing to visit a place that has not been commercialized. The Malliouhana was very nice however they will need to do some renovations/updates if they want to compete with the new hotels being built - Fairmont, Viceroy, and Baccarat. Our room was spacious and very nice however, the bathrooms are not air-conditioned nor... more

We stayed at the Malliouhana after I did research on the web. I decided it was the top place in Anguilla to stay, and it was. There was fabulous food, attentive service, HUGE villas. My sons were happy with the water slide and water sports. We walked from our villa in the morning right down to the beach and split... more

Had a very relaxing and wonderful stay at Malliouhana for 5 nights from May 16 through May 21, 2008. The semi open-air architecture of the main building and lush, expansive grounds were beautiful to wander around and soak in. Being the original top resort on Anguilla, it has an enviable elevated position (unlike most other resorts on the flat, scrubby... more

After reading some reviews about the service i was a little concerned, but i have to saythat everyone was friendly and very accomadating. We went with friends so we had the friends and family package. The rooms were big with great views and couldnt beat the price.Everyday we stayed at turtle cove beach and basically had the beach to our selves.... more

I booked a 5 night stay at the Malliouhana in Anguilla, and then was a little apprehensive after reading some negative reviews on trip adviser. Well I can assure you that the hotel is deserving of the fabulous reputation. The hotel's location is one of the most beautiful in the world. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, especially at... more

The Island of Anguilla is very small and humble. The island is not at all commercialized which is soooo nice!!! It is still a rustic and beautiful island with no buildings or condos, which are soon to come to this island. The locals on the island are beyond nice even though they do not speak much. They smile everytime we... more

We traveled to Anguilla for a 4-night stay in November '07. We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and were disappointed with Malliouhana. We had high expectations for the hotel based on the price being paid and the on-line/magazine reviews. The location on Meads Bay was beautiful. We found the room to have luxuries such as Italian marble in the... more

We have been to the Malliouhana four times and every times has been better than the last. The staff is efficient and friendly and the hotel and grounds are beautiful. The gorgeous Meads Bay is what keeps us coming back, the water is an indescribable color, and so warm and clear for swimming and snorkeling. The snorkeling is also something... more

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Malli and it was all that we expected and more. We purchased the romantic interlude package which was great because the main restaurant is very pricy. However, the restaurant food was excellent. Our ocean view room was spectacular, we were served our breakfast on our terrace as we watched the waves... more
