What the other reviewer proves is that whatever else, you won't have neutral feelings about the Chinati Foundation! I loved it, so felt I should present the other point of view. Judd bought an abandoned fort and used the outbuildings and the amazing surrounding landscape to house his monumental, minimalist works, and those of his friends. Amongst the fun stuff... more

I have yet to figure out what makes what I saw "art"! The entire "collection" consisted of something termed minimalist art, and certainly had minimal interest to me. One "piece" simply consisted of circles of rocks sitting on an old concrete tennis court. I don't know who would be considered to have the biggest problem ... someone who would declare... more
