Even in winter - this is awesome - see my other review of the Shedd Aquarium - as that is not worth the money - and this is FREE - awesome sculptures - and guess what - if you dont like it - you didnt lose a dime. Nice place - clean - and worth it. more
The park is wonderful, despite its high price tag. In addition to the famous "Bean" and water-spurting mouths fountain, don't miss the lovely peristyle and the snakelike bridge over Columbus drive. But if visiting in spring or summer, make a special effort to visit the Lurie gardens, which, while not huge, are spectacular. This is a free attraction and surely... more
This park, though probably a bit too expensive to create, is a great place to check out. There are several examples of public art such as the bean and faces, that are worth examining. There is also a cool bridge, amphitheater, and places to eat. Overall a great place to be on a hot summer day. more

The "cloud" sculpture provides a unique photo opportunity. If you are in the area or staying nearby, stop by as it is well... more
This is a wonderful park in the middle of the big city. It has bike riding available as well as a walking/running area. The scultures and fountains are nice also. You can get a guided tour provided by the chicago greeters. It starts at the visitor area. There are also free concerts in a wonderful concert area and a beautiful... more
