My wife and I went to Buckskin Joe's on June 1st, 2007. Loved the little train ride out through the pasture to an overlook point where you could view the Royal Gorge. My family (two little ones, one teenager, my husband, myself and my sister) all loved Buckskin. The kids had a blast watching the shootouts and the magic shows. We took our kids ages 2 and 5 and they had a blast. Make sure you get a combo ticket online so it's cheaper, so you can ride the horse and trolley, then ride the royal gorge railway across the road and visit the ghost town.
