My family and I had a great time from when we walked in until the very end. The staff was very friendly and helpful and well worth the money. We would love to go back and even met TV host John Walsh there who was filming an episode of his show. They said he is around frequently. Anyway I highly... more

Excellent and interesting. We spent about two hours and I look forward to returning again to spend even more time. I'm a tour guide and this museum will be added to my "must see" list for my clients. Joe K.- ANA Transportation more

Visited on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008...not too crowded in mid afternoon. Kids enjoyed all the hands on features and interactive options like driving a police car, using a gun during a simulated crime. They are home to the real studio where America's Most Wanted tv show is filmed. Would recommend to others. Thought the price was fair. more

My husband and I (32 and 28, we live in DC), visited the new Crime & Punishment Museum last night, and I must say we were both pleasantly surprised. The C&P museum features very interesting, detailed and informative displays on crime figures on both sides of the law. The museums goes into details on notorious mob members, serial killers, forms... more

I went with my two teenage boys late on a Sunday evening. It almost seemed like we had the whole museum to ourselves. The different sections were great fun, especially since my oldest one is very much into Forensics. The two boys could even chase bad guys in two virtual police cars ganging up on the gangsters. It was a... more

Were else can you see Al Capone's jail cell? Check out the CSI unit , get your kids fingerprinted and see the set that films America's Most Wanted. There is also a neat museum store called the Cop Shop! more

I was given a tour of the museum a few months ago when it first opened. Having been through most of the musems in Washington, DC, I was quite impressed with this one. Not only is it very educational but is very interactive as well. Crime, unfortunately, is a huge part of our lives and the musem does a great... more

This museum was far more informative than I thought it would be. I went not expecting much and ended up spending a whole morning there. Lots of interactive exhibits really get you immersed in the museum. It was far more extensive inside than it appeared from the outside. A very pleasant suprise. more

Based on the reviews on this site we took the time to visit the National Museum of Crime and Punishment in DC. We shelled out our $18 each and proceeded through the displays. For a new museum, the displays seemed very dated. Some of the items of torture were both scary and interesting at the same time. Many of the... more
