The freedom monument is situated near the park area by the old town. It features a woman holding 3 stars and survived the Russians destroying it as they decided it was mother Russia holding the 3 Baltic states. Every hour is the changing of the guards by the monument, which attracts a lot of tourists. It is in a lovely... more
