Each of the Baltic countries have a similar museum of occupation. Estonia's, located right outside Tallin's Old City, focuses on the German and the two Soviet occupations right up to 1991. The Museum of Occupations is a small, modern, light-filled building quite unlike a traditional museum. It is concerned with the German and Soviet occupations of Estonia in the 20th century. Captions are in Estonian but a free printed English-language guide is available.
