I enjoyed these baths. The entrance as others have said is slightly confusing, but nothing that a person who has any experience in a country where they don't speak your language can't get through. The indoor baths were nice, but felt sligthly community pool-like. The ceilings had some decoration to them, but nothing particularly ornate. The best part is the... more

What a terrible experience this was. We are a family of 5 and went to the baths on Aug. 6, 2008. We went there on recommendation from a friend. The baths were beautiful but packed with old, grossly overweight septarians. On top of that somebody stole my key to the locker and I was kept in a spare room for... more

Nice, but a little confusing initially if you don't speak Hungarian. Booking a massage can be an administrative nightmare. I would suggest getting massages at the Thai centre on the second floor - much better and great value too. I had a two hour massage which was great! more

I enjoyed the experience but wish I had come more prepared. If I had known I would have brought flip flops, towels a warm bathrobe and bottled water. They charge you an outrageous amount to rent a towel and only give you a tiny little towel and if it gets wet and you want a new one they charge you... more

We have just returned from a four day break in Budapest and our trip to these baths really made our holiday. Easy to get to, you can see them as you emerge from the metro station into the park. We didn't see many British people there, just lots of local hungarians enjoying the waters. Friends with us had been to... more

I have been to Budapest three times now and I have been to this place every time. I was fortunate to have come here with a Hungarian native my first time since it is kind of confusing knowing what to do once you get in. Inside I didn't feel it was too dirty although it didn't really epitomize clean either.... more

I went to these baths with high expectations. The pictures look great. When I got there there were two problems. Firstly there were some renovations going on. Luckily it didn't detract too much from the experience. Secondly, and more importantly, the building was not as architecturally stunning as the photos seemed to suggest, although it was impressive. However This was... more

Quite an experience....if you find yourself in Hungary, do not miss this. Walking to this particular spa-bathhouse from the metro was very nice as the entrance is quite impressive. But overall, It is confusing, strange, and highly entertaining experience starting with check-in. There is a list of treatments and prices in English, but you need a dictionary to understand it.... more

Not really sure what to make of this place, First of all there are no sun loungers, (silly me thought there would be!) there are a few chairs and benches but most people just lay a towel on the concrete ground and lay down. Outside pools were quite nice, Inside, well, they looked dirty but maybe its just the colour... more

We really enjoyed the baths. Don't be intimidated by the hub bub when entering. They are very friendly and relaxed. Pay for everything you want as you enter, such as a towel. Few of the others baths are co-ed so this one is very nice. It is easy to get to on the Metro and near City Park. We particularly... more
