This place is best known for its traditional music sessions, held every night at about 9:30 pm. However, it also has a relatively spacious rear area where a mix of locals and tourists can hang out and chat, play pool or PlayStation, and watch football on TV. We went there for the music, it's the only place in Dingle where you can count on high quality, traditional music every night. Fun and full of character, bathrooms could use some attention to the American eye, but the best of Ireland -- people, good times, music, Guinness. Who could ask for more? We were in Dingle in September. My husband was able to dive into this pub and watch part of the Ryder Cup on a big screen projection TV while i finished up some shopping. The music was traditional (big plus) and the locals did some set dancing. Not sure if you'd get this in the hight of the travel season,... more
