My husband surprised me with Mama Agata's cooking class on our honeymoon. It was truly the best day of the entire trip! We were running late due to some problems with our less than desirable accommodation in Minori. I didn't get any sleep and was very stressed. But the moment I walked down the steps into Chiara's (Mama Agata's daughter... more

Chiara and her mother are warm and wonderful people with a talent for making you feel part of their family immediately. We enjoyed sharing the learning experience with other "classmates". We learned alot about cooking overlooking the Mediterranean-can you think of anything more inspiring? I wish the class had been a tad shorter because it was our only day in... more

Picture yourself parachuted in an italian family; sturdy looking (but oh so friendly) MAMA, happy daughter who settles you like you ARE family and a household that is alive and so busy you feel a bit intruding; then you put on your mama agata's apron and the show starts... a waterfall of Tasting pinching, Tasting again, looking writing Tasting again... more

My husband and I went to Mama Agata on the recommendation of our travel agent. We had such an amazing time. There were 12 people, us included who feasted on a amazing selection of homemade food and wine. The view along from the outdoor dining room is worth it. Mama Agata and Chiara are so welcoming and fun. Hands down... more

This cooking experience is one not to be missed by a food lover while in the Amalfi Coast. Although my boyfriend and I were a couple of the youngest to ever do the class (we're 18 and 19) this fact did not make the course any less enriching. Not only do you get to learn to cook amazing italian cuisine,... more

After what can be described as the most nerve-wracking drive of my life along the 20 Km of the Amalfi coast on a doughnut tire, my wife and I arrived at a gorgeous villa overlooking a long, breathtaking stretch of the coast. Every part of the day was wonderful. We opened the morning sitting on Mama's terrace, enjoying a delicious... more

Having just returned from a wonderful 10 day trip to the Amalfi Coast, I would highly recommend a detour to spend a day at Mamma Agata's cooking class. From the first minute one is warmly welcomed to Mamma's home to the last when one waddles out completely sated with an abundance of fresh, healthy food and wine, this is a... more

Mamma Agata refers to her program as "the hidden treasure." There are no better words to describe the day spent at the Agata household than those. My best friend and I, who were on a 3 week Italian vacation, tout this day as the best of our whole trip! It was Chiara's kind spirit, and jovial wit that brought the... more

From the moment we arrived at Mamma Agata's to be greeted by Chiara, I knew we were in for a great day. Chiara is " the hostess with the mostest"; such a warm, bubbly, enthusiastic personality with a wonderful variety of stories and experiences to share. The setting high above the ocean in Ravello is just magical- the weather was perfect... more
