Despite the wonderfull surroundings we found this alleged tropical house extremely disappointing and starting to look very shabby. Spent a very enjoyable afternoon at this tourist attraction. I think the entrance fee was more than reasonable considering your ticket covers you all day so you can in and out of the tropical greenhouse as often as you want! A pleasant visit with some pretty butterflies, coy carp and an iguana in large greenhouse-type housing, but not worth the £5.95 per adult entry fee we paid for entry. There was more stock in the shop than in the greenhouse! more
I don't think this was your typical place to visit as a tourist. However, it was a really relaxed enjoyable afternoon.
