Although a bit of a hike from the closest metro stop (Lesseps), this is a must on a tour of Guadi’s works, but well worth it. There are two houses (one which very much resembles a gingerbread house), the steps, the famous lizard, an impressive columned pavilion, and an open area above the columned pavilion with a winding mosaic bench.... more

I enjoyed the morning we spent at the Parc Guell greatly, it is a wonderful work of art, a good view point and a nice walk through what must be an authentic Spanish garden (especially if your trip to Spain is only in Barcelona.) It is free, which is nice, but at the entrance it gets very busy, so taking... more

We loved this place. We spent the whole afternoon wandering around the little pathways, up and down, looking at Gaudi's unique works of art. You can certainly loose track of time in this place, it's a good size and there is lots to see. There are 2 cafe's too so plenty of opportunities for refreshments especially if it's a hot... more

Park Guell is one of the highlights of any trip to Barcelona and provides a cheaper, more satisfying alternative than visiting the other Gaudi landmark; Sagrada Familia. Getting there can be a bit of a pain but if you have bought one of the pre-paid metro cards (available at the tourist information in the airport amongst other places) then you... more

Ok: so it's free. It's georgeous. Makes for great photos. And it is like nothing you will ever see anywhere else. Why not go? Alot a lot of time though, I think we were there about 3 and a half hours! Oh, but bring or buy water, you will get thirsty with all that walking take bus 24 from plaza... more

This park was awesome! The buildings at the entrance reminded me of Candyland or holiday Gingerbread Houses. Really very neat, lots of details to see and admire everywhere. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED (though a brief rain shower helped some); trying to get a picture of the famous dragon was near impossible with everyone climbing... more

I visited Barcelona with no intention of coming to Parc Guell, but I found myself with a free PM and I said what the hey. Boy, was I glad I went. It's a small park, relatively, but it offers a nice hilltop view of Barcelona, looking toward the ocean. There are many kooky, nice touches in the park, the "longest"... more

I love this place...been to it three times! Its perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening out of the bustling city. Gaudi's dreamlike architecture is stunning and the views over the city are awesome. It's not the easiest to reach as most of the journey there is uphill, but there are plenty of cafés, bars and shops on the way... more

It was a nice park. I would suggest getting there via the Green Line (L3) to Vallcarca station. From Vallcarca, the park is a short walk away, and it is very well signed. People who complain about it being hard to get to must be REALLY lazy. The walk to the park takes you up some steps, which are not... more
