We took a day trip out of Madrid to Segovia and from Segovia caught the local bus to La Granja/San Ildefonso for just 1.05 Euro. The bus runs on an irregular schedule and makes a few local stops, but you can get the schedule at the bus station in Segovia or the TI in San Ildefonso. We chose the unguided... more
