Been to Abaco yesterday....it was a very nice and cosy place, but the price you pay for a cocktail is not in line with the quality. The waiter was not one you expect from that kind of bars.... We ordered a simple daiquiri cocktail and it was so horrible we didn't even drink it! Just paid without any tip and... more

Loved Abaco - very relaxing to sit on the terrace and listen to beautiful classical music with a background of birdsong and the sound of water. At 17 euros for a coffee, a beer and a bowl of olives, it was well worth it. I hope to return. more

The patio here is very romantic, toilets very spacious and comfortable and building very interesting, but that's about it. They insist on playing Mozart all evening, which is hardly conducive to a good evening, the service is a bit non-descript which is not what you'd expect from such a place (staff are grumpy and could do with new uniforms). Whoever... more

The Abaco Bar is everything the guide books promise, and more. My jaw dropped when we walked through the door. This is not just a place to drop off for a drink, it is An Experience. Linger for an hour over a cocktail, preferably with someone you love. Yes, the drinks are expensive but so worth it. The place is... more

Yes, it's what i suggest you to do. The place is interesting only under the aesthetic point of view. So it's enough to get in, have a look around (and you are allow to do that) and say goodnight. Prices are absurd: 15 euro for any drink, the music is classical, the birds are in jail. more

Hi. We spent a few days in the fab Hotel Tres in december wondering where the opera music was coming from. Finally we found the amazing abaco bar, and the couple of hours in the candlelit garden on a starry winter evening with my loved one will always stay in my mind as one of the best experiences I have... more

If you wish to be astonished it would be better that you stumble across Abaco by accident, as we did. For this reason I strongly recommend that you don't read any of the more detailed reviews. Just go there. If Salvador Dali had been interested in cocktail bar design this is what he would have come up with. Abaco is... more

You enter the bar through a brown door off the street, and you are taken aback as soon as you are in there - fruit and flowers all over the floor, lavish decor throughout. Sat in a courtyard with opera music piped and a fountain. Cocktails cost €15 which is very extravagant, but worth it for the experience alone if... more

I am always dubious about places that are advertised as 'must visit tourist attractions'but I would recommend Abaco 100%.As soon as you step through the door the smell of the fruit hits you.we knew the cocktails were pricey before we went, but we ended up having two champagne cocktails at 14euros each.(They were worth every euro.)I fell in love with... more
